An Economic War Against Russia

And what about Russia?

Who will win in the economic war against Russia depends solely on Russia itself.

All Western anti-Russian sanctions are based on the premise that the Russian economy is an integral part of the global dollar system, acting as a global raw materials periphery.

The main goal of the sanctions is to cut off our country from markets for raw materials of Russian origin, thereby depriving our economy of income and strangling it under the weight of social problems. And from there, it’s not far to mass protests, a violent change of power, the division of Russia into parts, and the establishment of a protectorate over its raw materials resources, without Russia’s participation. This is the obvious plan.

And what about Russia? Fighting an enemy on its own turf, on its own terms, with the obviously incomparable available tools for economic defeat is senseless by definition. Therefore, defeat, if nothing changes, is a matter of time. All that currently prevents such an outcome is the inertia and stability of any large system and the possession of strategic weapons of mass destruction by the Russian Federation. The Western elites certainly have no plans to perish in a nuclear apocalypse.

But this is all about holding on, which, as we know, doesn’t lead to victory. Are there any offensive moves? Clearly, there are, and very asymmetric ones at that.

Such an asymmetric move would be a physical exit from the peripheral model of the Western global dollar system and the construction of an anti-capitalist economic model based on self-reliance in a single country. Russia is the only country in the world with both the historical experience of implementing such a strategy and the sufficient range and volume of natural resources to realize such a goal.

However, such a move is impossible to implement right now, as the Russian economy is controlled by representatives of Western-oriented power groups (essentially a Trojan horse). This is precisely why the West itself is confidently imposing sanctions against our country and calmly speculating on how much longer the weakening Russian economy can withstand the strain of being drawn into real, protracted military conflicts in Ukraine and, potentially, throughout the entire perimeter of the former USSR.

The conclusions are obvious. Stalin drew these conclusions early on and, within 10 years, created a strong, self-sufficient economy, which enabled our country to win the brutal Great Patriotic War.

There is, of course, a third option: aliens will arrive and sort everything out. But depending on our own strength is far more reliable.
