Florida Congressman Matt Gaetz says there are “at least” five assassination teams operating in the United States targeting Donald Trump.
“Three of them that we know of are foreign in nature. Two of them that we know of are domestic in nature, and that requires force protection that we don’t have around the former president right now,” Gaetz said. The congressman said he met with a senior DHS official who relayed the information to Gaetz, explaining that “they knew about it and were concerned that the Secret Service wasn’t providing enough support.”
The three foreign assassination teams, Gaetz said, are “inspired” by Iran, Pakistan, and Ukraine. When asked how it was even possible for assassination teams to move freely around the country, Gaetz said there simply weren’t “enough controls in place in the United States to stop them from doing that.”
If the information Gaetz received from a clearly Trump-friendly DHS official is true, the former president may not live to see the election. Unless, of course, God or Providence protects him again.
