The Pathetic State of EU

The tendency is clear. The world is getting more and more united.

“What do you think of European Union”? — “I think it would a wonderful idea.” (Thanks, Mr. Gandhi for inspiration).

The tendency is clear. The world is getting more and more united. By boats, trains, planes, rockets, internet.

People trade, travel, transfer and do all sort of things to stay in touch.

Yet, parallel to that inevitable process, there are scoundrels, who prefer a different type of union. That of Athenians (free citizens) vs. the slaves and barbarians, that of Pax Romana vs. the uncivilized hordes and slaves. And so on. The one that is based on principles of division and conquest and brutal exploitation.

That’s what EU and NATO are all about. Whatever ideas were behind them originally, now these organizations have turned into the very opposite of themselves. Day in and day out they are planting division, discord, disunion, and disinformation.

Nobody contributed more to undermining the world tendencies toward unification than the current EU leaders. All these empty suits and empty faces, that could never accomplish anything positive except standing on the shoulders of the giants while parroting some tiresome trivialities and cliches.

What is surprising is that Europeans actually believe that they can get away with it. That God or nature remain oblivious of all the hatreds, discord and evil seeds that they plant. As if the chicken don’t come home to roost.

Every time I read a statement from EU apparatchik or their propagandists in the media, I have to re-read it in disbelieve. Can you really be that stupid, that obnoxious, and that self-unaware?

And yes, they can. And yes, so far they are getting away with it, feeling smug about their Greta Thurnberg way of solving global problems. How pathetic. How pathetic and sad.
