Lunch is an extremely pleasant thing, but before going to the endocrinologist, I didn’t even know that I usually eat lunch incorrectly.

Focusing on protein, I practically excluded carbohydrates from my diet, especially those that everyone calls harmful: bread, all flour products, sweets, potatoes, pasta, porridge, etc.

However, the first thing my endocrinologists noticed was my refusal of carbohydrates, including the right ones, without which it is impossible to lose weight.

The ideal lunch should consist of: The right carbohydrates: buckwheat, pearl barley, pasta that cooks for 12+ minutes, quinoa, bulgur. Note: rice is not a right carbohydrate! Vegetables: any, except potatoes, sweet potatoes.

Main protein dish: meat (except pork), fish or seafood, soy, beans; Fruits: any, except bananas.

Optimal options: Chicken soup with pasta (in simple terms, broth with noodles) + stewed vegetables with chicken + apple and tangerine; Fish soup with pearl barley (salmon broth with vegetables and cereals) + pasta with mushrooms + mango; Correct meat cutlet (without flour, etc.) + pasta with vegetables + pear.

The main thing is to plan your meals according to the scheme, and its variations can be anything. It is typical that fruits should be eaten at lunchtime before 4 p.m., as well as other sweet foods. After 4 p.m., sweets are prohibited.

I will never forget how I arrived home on January 23, 2021 at 15:50 and managed to eat an apple 10 minutes before the stop line, which I wrote about in the report to the endocrinologist.
