However, the Mossad mole in Hezbollah's upper echelons is alive and kicking.

Another major Israeli strike on Beirut may have killed Hezbollah’s new executive chief, Hashim Safi al-Din, cousin and successor to Hassan Nasrallah.

According to three Israeli officials, the strike targeted a deep underground bunker where Safi al-Din was located, but it is unclear whether he was killed in the attack.

Reuters reports that Safi al-Din could not been reached since Friday. Lebanese media reports that the Israeli strike was much larger than the one that killed Nasrallah last week. The death toll is still unknown.

The IDF said the attack targeted Hezbollah’s intelligence headquarters. In addition to Safi al-Din, Hezbollah intelligence chief Hussein Hazima, known as “Mortada,” is also believed to have been in the bunker. This means that a Mossad mole in Hezbollah’s upper echelons is alive and kicking.

Sooner or later he will probably be exposed, but by that time the organization may already be in ruins.
