Do Politicians Forget Personal Insults and Betrayals?

Of course, I am not a historian of Trump impeachment proceedings, but from what I remember, they were mostly about the so-called “Ukraine-gate.”

That is, Trump knew that Zelensky had plenty of dirt on Biden and his coke-head son. So he told Zelensky to give him some goods before he released another billion dollar packet of Ukrainian help.

Well, kosher or not, it is hard for me to imagine that people with power don’t use it for their advantage. You scratch my back, I scratch yours. When Clinton was in office, there was another form of scratching, but the idea was the same.

And what did Zelensky do? He showed Trump a big middle finger. Furthermore, there was this pro-Ukrainian Russian Jew in immediate Trump environment, this Nazi-loving-traitor-to-the -memory-of-his-people named Alex Vindman, who actually squealed on Trump.

As the result, one of the most obnoxious witch hunting scenes outside McCarthyism — took place in the US Congress during the two months of 2019.

Day in day out, pseudo experts, professional liars, TDS inflicted maniacs, and Democrat-beholden spooks were testifying to the dangers of Trumpism, to the heroism of Vindman and Zelensky, to the need to fight them (Russians) over there, before they come over here. You know, typical bacchanalia of Russophobic zealots, which made old Joe McCarthy green with envy even behind the walls of hell.

Frankly, that was the most sickening ceremony I had a chance to observe. And I’ve happened to watch my share of sick procedures, including XXIII–XXV Congresses of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union.

And did Zelensky ever apologized or showed some remorse? Did he say that he was forced to follow the script delivered to him by Jake Sullivan and Victoria Nuland? Not really. In fact, he continues to double down, mocking Trump, arguing that Trump is Putin’s asset and stuff like that.

And did EU told him to shut up? Not really. In fact, they continue to double down, exploiting the same fake news and other nonsense, which only a person with intelligence of Annalena Baerbock finds relevant.

So, why all of the sudden they all act so surprised?
