Trump is still determined to defeat his enemies in Minnesota.

Trump did NOT back down in Minneapolis

Mr. Homan has the full confidence of the President.

Unfortunately, even the most respected and highly regarded American experts conclude that Trump has given in after the murder of Alex Pretti and is ready to almost surrender ICE and the entire Department of Homeland Security based on articles from such publications as Axios, CNN, Politico, The Atlantic, etc. Meanwhile, all these publications are openly hostile to Trump, and drawing conclusions based on their information is like judging the Kremlin’s policy based on the “analytics” of someone like Gideon Rachman or Mark Galeotti.

Conclusions should be drawn based on Trump’s actions and his administration, and these actions show that Trump is still determined to defeat his enemies in Minnesota, and possibly not only there.

Tom Homan, Trump’s “border czar”, during the presidency of Democratic idol Barack Hussein Obama, served in the now-demonized ICE, where he held the position of Executive Deputy Director of ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations. He was one of only three senior officials in the Department of Homeland Security who received the Presidential Award for Outstanding Service in 2015.

This award is the country’s highest honor, annually awarded by the president to the best senior officials and highly qualified professionals who demonstrate “strength, integrity, and commitment to public service”. According to ICE, between 2013 and 2015, the department led by Homan deported more than 920,000 illegal immigrants from the United States, 534,000 of whom had criminal records.

It will be very difficult for Democrats to fight against such a political heavyweight, who even under a Democratic president was able to expel almost a million illegal immigrants from the United States and even received a high award from B.H. Obama himself!

White House Press Secretary Carolyn Leavitt openly mocked liberal journalists, saying:
“And I would like to remind everyone in this room that it was former President Barack Hussein Obama who awarded Mr. Homan the medal. So he is obviously very qualified. He has the full confidence of the president. He will continue to hold these meetings in the hope that ICE and local law enforcement agencies can cooperate and work together to successfully enforce immigration laws, as we see in almost all other states of the country.”

Another conclusion can be drawn from Leavitt’s briefing, which is contrary to the narrative spread by anti-Trump liberal media: the “productive conversation” between the US president and Minnesota Governor Tom Walz was not a capitulation by Trump — quite the contrary. Trump conveyed to Walz his vision of further actions in Minnesota, and Walz, apparently, was forced to agree with this, at least in words. The White House’s demands include the immediate transfer of all detained illegal immigrants who have committed crimes to federal authorities, the obligation of local police to hand over all arrested illegal immigrants to federal authorities, and mandatory cooperation with federal law enforcement agencies in the arrest of suspects.

Leavitt also accused Democrats and far-left activists of trying to hinder the fulfillment of the mandate given to President Trump by voters, while federal immigration officers are carrying out the will of the American people. She noted that Trump condemned the “disgusting” treatment of these officers and called the resistance to law enforcement deadly dangerous.

The crackdown has spurred massive street protests in below-freezing temperatures, and fierce condemnations by the state’s Democratic leaders.
