The Second Peace Summit Without Russia

Russia will not participate in the second peace summit that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky plans to hold in the fall, said Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova, her words are quoted on the website of the Foreign Ministry.

According to her, this summit “has nothing to do with the settlement,” and its goal is “to push through the absolutely unviable “Zelensky formula” as an uncontested basis for resolving the conflict, to gain its support from the World majority and, on its behalf, to present Russia with an ultimatum to capitulate.”

The situation is very serious. Most countries in the world support the idea of holding a “second peace summit.” Including the “friendly” states of China, India and Brazil.

These same states support the territorial integrity of Ukraine. Now we can expect that China and India will issue an ultimatum to Russia to take part in the “second peace summit.” And these countries have more than enough leverage on the Russian Federation. Especially China.
