Looking Another Way

I don’t feel commenting any longer, because I constantly feel preempted by mass media and the mainstream politicians.

It was simple a while ago. You look at the news with your cynical Russian eyes trained on Soviet nonsense, you recognize the same type of clap-trap, and you mock it.

Not any more! No matter how cynical you want to be, today’s media and political classes outdo you every time. So how can you compete? Thousands killed — we help them construct democracy. Thousands homes burned — liberty requires sacrifice. We turn Hillary and Obama into King and Queen, and Hamas murderers into Princes, but then triumphantly join hands at “No King” march.

How can you possible out-cynic these scoundrels? Who can beat the dressing of mass murderers into white helmets and peddling them as the saviors of Syria. Who can beat a sell out general who takes his urine sample and peddling it as “undeniable proof of weapons of mass destruction.” Who can take certified thugs with every inch of their bodies covered by nazi tattoos and present them as the testimony of Jewish-Ukrainian friendship? Who can pretend that nothing happened in Sudan, where the bloodied soil is seen from the satellites, and scream about the genocide in the land, where the life-span of an average citizen was longer than that in Mexico.

But finally, it occurred to me. Here is a cynicism that even the mainstream would not be able to match.

You are up in arms about Epstein pimping young girls to all sort of dignitaries. Princes, presidents, prime-ministers, journalists, pundits, senators. Everyone is outraged by that! Everyone wants to hear more. Everyone wants to expose, punish, and turn it into some sort of morality tale or conspiracy theory. Even Brits, despite their inherent royal idolatry are ready to throw one of their princes under the bus. Everyone screams for blood. How dares this upstart Epstein pimp others for some materialistic gain?

But then, lets pause for a second and let imagine US as Epstein, and Virginia Giuffre as Ukraine.

Since the collapse of the Soviet Union, and definitely, since 2014, US was pimping Ukraine to anyone interested. You want their able bodied men — fine, let’s start the war, and you’ll have Ukrainian construction workers. You want their young women. Easy. You want their older women to take care of Italian, German, or Israeli senior citizens. Fine, take them, and just pay for it with some modern weapons. Same applies to the black earth and whatever it contains. Just take it, and pay your five percent.

But where is outrage, you holier-than-thou Gretas of Sweden? The country is raped, blown to pieces and abused. Its population destroyed, its land burned. Be it under Biden or under Trump, Ukraine continues to be pimped. And we don’t even need the secret list. It is all out in the open. All the clients are out there. Macron and the French. Merkel, Scholz, Merz, von der Leyden. Borrell. Meloni, Sturmer.

Why everyone wants former Prince Andrew to resign, but not these consumers of young flesh. Oh, you never thought of that, right? Too busy waving Ukrainian and Palestinian flags; too busy carrying Trump portrait in Nazi Uniform. Good job.

So yes, go on and be outraged at petty pimps and their clients. What a perfect venue for virtue signaling. And continue to be proper, when one country pimps another! Just look another way. Again, and again, and again.
