Everything is on Sale

The death of the last pillars of the big Western press.

Something incredible is happening to the leading American media.

Even in publications that were previously considered reputable, like the Wall Street Journal, in the “Opinions” or “From the Editor” sections, outright low-grade “custom-made” material is published almost daily.

These materials are most likely generously paid for with cryptocurrency, which allows sellers and buyers to have nothing to be ashamed of.

The authors of “jeans” previously worked exclusively in favor of Kyiv, and now — in favor of Israel. And no different opinions.

Some kind of shameful degradation of the former flagships of Western journalism.

In another paid “editorial” on June 15, the WSJ published a call for Trump not to seek a deal with Iran, but to let Israel finish the war and finish off the country.

They say that the main goal of the Israeli bombings “was not achieved.” Israel valiantly killed as many as 14 leading Iranian scientists working on the nuclear program. However, Iran’s largest uranium enrichment plant in Natanz was damaged, but not yet destroyed.

And Iran’s main uranium enrichment facility in Fordow, located deep under a mountain, was almost undamaged. And there is enough material there to make several bombs. The newspaper believes that after such an attack, Iran, if it manages to fight back, will speed up work on weapons that will allow it to prevent new attacks in the future. And this is unacceptable.

“This is where the US comes into play. Israel lacks depth charges and the heavy bombers to deliver them, which could do more damage to hardened sites. The United States has both, and Israel would like U.S. help in destroying these nuclear sites.”

Mr. Trump, the WSJ complains, wrote on social media that the United States could “easily make a deal” to end the war. But that prospect would be more likely if he helped Israel end the war victoriously. Israel has signaled that its campaign could take days or weeks. If Mr. Trump does not help finish off Fordow, Israel will need more time to achieve its strategic goals. “U.S. neutrality means a longer war.”

The WSJ editorial board, having lost its professional shame, directly calls on Trump to give Israel the military capability to completely destroy the Fordow and Natanz sites. “These are the real stakes. Now that the war is underway, the United States has a strategic and moral interest in eliminating the Iranian nuclear threat and in a quick Israeli victory.”

Farewell, former business newspaper.
