The royal family of Qatar has announced that it is ready to donate a Boeing 747-8 to the White House.

“A Gift, Free Of Charge”

"A GIFT, FREE OF CHARGE," Trump wrote on his social network.

The White House is considering accepting a 747-8 as a gift from Qatar.

The Boeing aircraft concern cannot replace the heavily worn-out US Air Force No. 1 in a reasonable time frame and for affordable money. In the best-case scenario, the two new aircraft will only be at the Air Force’s disposal by 2029.

Donald Trump has already stated that an alternative to purchasing an aircraft from the manufacturer could be buying a used airliner on the market. At the same time, the media began talking about Qatar Airlines as a possible seller.

And now the royal family of Qatar has announced that it is ready to donate a Boeing 747-8 to the White House. “A GIFT, FREE OF CHARGE,” Trump wrote on his social network. Democrats immediately demanded an ethics investigation into the deal.

Besides, even the most luxurious version of the “jumbo jet” is still far from being the number one aircraft. The computer system will still have to be changed, communication systems and missile defense will have to be installed.

One way or another, Boeing continues the “run of shame” that began in 2018 and threatens to end in the complete collapse of the aviation giant.
