Trump's time for bluff is running out.

Iran's Unconditional Capitulation

Did he really think that old Khamenei would be scared?

Political monster Donald Trump, the great intuitive and perennial lucky guy, misses more and more often and more stupidly.

Well, tell me, why was it necessary to throw ULTIMATE words at Iran: we demand “unconditional surrender”, “your Supreme Leader is in our sights”, you have 60 days to “sign a deal”, you have your last 24 hours, and then…

Did he really think that old Khamenei would be scared? He has long been ready to meet Allah and a martyr’s death in office would be his greatest final reward.

Trump could gradually increase pressure on Tehran, while continuing negotiations with it through intermediaries. Trump has an offer of mediation from Russia on the table. Moscow could enter into a “tripartite” deal, taking Iran’s “surplus” highly enriched uranium (HEU) — it already did this once in 2015.

According to the IAEA, Iran had accumulated 408.6 kg of 60% enriched Uranium-235 as of mid-May, which is much more than reactor grade, but far from weapons-grade nuclear material with an enrichment level of 93%.

Russia could take this small amount of HEU and in exchange supply Iran with a proportional amount of finished fuel assemblies for the Bushehr nuclear power plant. And that’s it! No need for war.

Iran’s own enrichment of Uranium-235 is suspended for the time needed for leisurely discussions of a new “comprehensive plan of action”.

What’s wrong?

Here’s what. Israel believes that now is a uniquely favorable moment for a “final solution to the Persian question”. It is enough to play on the emotions of the sensitive Trump, who doesn’t care about experts, and provoke him correctly.

Trump’s time for bluff is running out. He said “surrender, you’re under fire”, moved the aircraft carriers — do it. Or go into diplomacy under the cover of colored propaganda fountains.

The geopolitics of a great nuclear power is ALWAYS a team game. Individuals inevitably get confused and lose. It’s time for Trump to come to his senses and not finally take the disastrous path of failed improvisations.
