Who Ordered the KilIing of Charlie Kirk?

Owens and, presumably, Joe Kent imply Israel's interest in eliminating Kirk.

The former deputy director of national intelligence, Joe Kent, who recently resigned over accusations against Trump regarding the war with Iran, announced that he would testify in court in the case of Charlie Kirk’s murder. At the same time, he said that he would give evidence “even if it weakens the case against Tyler Robinson”, the main suspect.

This immediately sparked a furious reaction from Kirk’s former allies, producer of the Charlie Kirk Show, Andrew Colvett, and his colleague Blake Naff. They said that this was a “betrayal”. There are two key points here: firstly, Kent does not believe in the lone gunman theory, and secondly, he may shed light on the Israeli trace in Kirk’s murder. This “trace” has been actively pursued by some MAGA activists since the beginning. Especially actively, this version was pushed by Candice Owens.

Owens and Kent also refer to a certain group chat within the organization Turning Point USA (TPUSA), fragments of which were recently leaked online. And this chat seems to cast doubt on the sequence of events described by Andrew Colvett on the day of Charlie Kirk’s murder. The timing of the messages shows that Colvett disappeared for two hours just at the time when Kirk was killed. Colvett himself claims that his phone was turned off, so the messages from the group chat loaded later.

Owens (and, presumably, Joe Kent) imply Israel’s interest in eliminating Kirk, as Kirk in the last months of his life began to criticize the Israeli leadership and talk about pressure from the Likud lobby.

Andrew Colvett calls all this “the madness of conspiracy theorists”. He points out that LGBT* activist groups, especially transgender people, actively threatened Kirk (the alleged killer, Tyler Robinson, was supposedly a transgender person in the early stages of the “transition”), but he is not aware of any cases of threats from individuals or groups associated with Israel.

In general, two theories compete: that Kirk was killed by transgender people and that Israel ordered the killing of Kirk. Both versions are conspiratorial in their own way and simultaneously politically instrumental, especially now, when there is a broad discussion about Israel’s role in US foreign policy and the true motives for starting a war against Iran.
