The atomic age is ending. A new era of terror, based on artificial intelligence, is beginning.

Ordinary Fascism

The postwar containment of Germany and Japan must be reversed.

Served in a Technologically Sounding Manner.

Recently, a post on social media by Palantir Technologies captured the attention of many. This software company makes software. Its main clients are the US military and intelligence agencies.

The post reads like a manifesto of sorts, promoting the ideas from last year’s book, “The Technological Republic.” It has two authors: Alexander Karp, CEO of Palantir Technologies, and Nicholas Zamiska, its head of corporate communications.

The authors are alarmed that the US has become a “digital hypermarket.”

IT giants are prioritizing profiteering over national interests. They create apps, online stores, and other consumer products, forgetting about national goals. It’s time to view technology not as a business, but as the infrastructure of the future world.

Western leadership must be maintained in the era of artificial intelligence. This requires a partnership between the state and tech companies, modeled on the era of World War II.

All of this was in the book and has now been incorporated into the manifesto. His main ideas are presented in 22 theses. Here are a few of them:
• Silicon Valley owes a moral debt to the country that created it. The Silicon Valley engineering elite has a duty to participate in the nation’s defense.
• Hard power is needed, and in this century it will be built on software.
• National service should be a universal duty. We must end the all-volunteer army.
• If a US Marine asks for a better rifle, we must build it; the same with software.
• The atomic age is ending. A new era of terror, based on artificial intelligence, is beginning.
• No other country in the history of the world has promoted progressive values more than the United States.
• The postwar containment of Germany and Japan must be reversed. Germany’s weakening was excessive, for which Europe is paying a heavy price. Japanese pacifism threatens to shift the balance of power in Asia.

So there you have it. Isn’t it clear that this is all about fascism? People have expressed themselves quite clearly, which greatly facilitates analysis. There’s no need to painfully decipher the essence of what they’re saying.

If anyone still hasn’t understood, I offer another excerpt: “Some cultures have produced important achievements… while others have proven mediocre, or even regressive and harmful.”

So it turns out that bombing Iran is not only acceptable, but also beneficial. Especially if its culture is declared regressive.

Of course, this is fascism.

And when people make such claims, their photos with Zelensky are no longer surprising.

It’s long been said, “A friend of one’s own sees a friend from afar.” And here, it’s not just from afar. There are photos of them together, taken in Kyiv. The head of Palantir Technologies took the trouble to visit Ukraine. This means that supporting the Bandera regime is important to him.

All of this makes the CPRF’s joint work with its allies in other countries even more urgent. At the end of May, we expect participants of the III International Anti-Fascist Forum in Moscow. Preparations are in full swing.
